“They said it's about as high as the Willis Tower. I don't know what they are talking about. I do know there is a Sears Tower in Chicago, and that's all that matters.

Re: "And then you accuse the conventional scientists of using psuedo-science?"To give you an example of pseudo-science in astrophysics, consider that in every discipline OTHER than astrophysics, it's generally accepted that electric currents are the cause for magnetic fields. And yet, in the discipline of astrophysics, that is the one explanation which they frequently refuse to consider. It's important that people ask why is that?Another example: in plasma physics, every charged particle is both subject to and the cause of electromagnetic fields. But, conventional astrophysicists are instructed that magnetic fields are "frozen into" plasmas like fossils. This has helped to simplify the computer models, but it has also made it easier for astrophysicists to convince themselves that plasmas behave as gases under a wide range of scenarios. Hannes Alfven, who invented this mathematics, explained in very explicit terms when he accepted his prize that this frozen-in concept (which he himself created) is in fact faulty. But one would have to work within a laboratory with plasmas on a regular basis in order to fully appreciate this fact -- or at least learn from people who do as much. And that is in fact a big part of the problem: many astrophysicists never work with plasmas in the laboratory. They are assuming that these plasma models which incorporate the frozen-in concept are correct, even though we've known for about 40 years now that they are not. This is incredibly important because plasma is the universe's preferred state of matter. If you model it even slightly incorrectly, then you've completely misunderstood the universe itself. The frozen-in concept is quintessential fake science (aka pseudo-science) because it lacks any empirical basis.Another example of pseudo-science: One of the greatest enigmas in our solar system pertains to the inverse-temperature of the Sun at its corona. The Sun's corona (it's atmosphere) is in fact 100x hotter than its surface. And yet, it's claimed that the Sun's power originates from its core. So, how does the Sun heat up its atmosphere w/o heating up its surface? Astrophysicists point to a concept called "magnetic reconnection". But, magnetic reconnection is extremely problematic. Magnetic reconnection is something that has supposedly been "tested" and proven in the lab, yet for some reason the lab results keep coming out wrong. Currently when scientists create a "reconnection" event in the lab between two electrically charged plasma sheets the "reconnection" event takes place at twice the speed that their theory predicts. So far no one has been able to rectify this problem, nor have they been able to produce a "reconnecting" magnetic field without first applying an electrical current to the plasma sheets they are observing. The reason is that in order to create a magnetic field, one must first induce an electrical current. But astrophysicists like to ignore this link between electric currents and magnetic fields, and frequently propose exotic causes for magnetic fields in space (since they prefer to minimize the role of electricity in space). But within the laboratory, applying an electric current is the only known way of producing a magnetic field in a plasma that can be tested. Needless to say, as soon as the current shuts off, so too does the magnetic field. All of this begs the question: Why is the Sun's atmosphere apparently 100x hotter than its surface? Rather than propose exotic "new physics" which simply does not work in the laboratory, shouldn't we also consider that the Sun's power source is external? Given that we now see a huge tail attached to our solar system's heliosphere which is aligned with the magnetic field (strongly suggesting that the tail is a current since electric currents align with the magnetic fields which surround them!), there is more than enough reason by now to suspect that our solar system is powered externally by an electric current. We see these filaments by now criss-crossing the entire universe on all scales.Re: "I'm not arguing anymore. You've already lost."This debate has nothing to do with either you or me. Neither of us can win or lose it. And furthermore, there's no reason to take any of it personally. It's when people involve emotions into their science when science stops being science, and more about people personally attacking one another.Fe: "And no, this isn't part of the big mean conspiracy that you're afraid of. When you learn to debate without coming out as insulting and condescending straight from your first post, you might just get somewhere."Who says that this is a debate? I've not really seen any substantial arguments put forth against the Electric Universe thus far, so I don't consider this to be anything remotely like a debate. I'm just trying to help you to realize that you need to do some reading of what the Electric Universe says. And by constraining your reading selection, you constrain your beliefs about what is going on in the universe; you constrain your beliefs about what the Electric Universe actually says; and you artificially inflate your confidence within the conventional theories. It's unfortunately very common.
