Dr. Jen Lalli: CEO & FSO, ITPSO
Jen is the CEO of NanoSonic and also serves as the FSO to implement NanoSonic’s strategic focus on advanced shielding materials for US assets. As a Ph.D. polymer chemist out of Virginia Tech and Penn State, she implements the future of protection through chemistry. She joined NanoSonic in 2002 and has continuously reimagined and transitioned innovative technology for national security, defense, energy, and space systems. As the author of Hunt & Gather, she is an avid culinary outdoorsman. Jen loves spending free time with her husband and their two children either outdoors or at their many travel sports events.
Melissa Campbell: CFO & CIO
Melissa joined NanoSonic in 2010 and is NanoSonic’s CFO. She also serves as CIO to ensure compliance with NanoSonic’s CMMC L2 certification, head of HR, and leads NanoSonic’s custom sales. Melissa is a graduate of George Mason University and has an extensive background in finance and banking. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside and enjoying her three children.
Dr. William Harrison: VP of Polymer Science
William is the Vice President of Polymer Science and also serves as our QA/QC Supervisor executing NanoSonic’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Dr. Harrison completed his Ph.D. at Virginia Tech in Prof. James E. McGrath’s group, with refereed journal publications on proton exchange membranes for fuel cells that have been cited more than 2000 times. Prior appointments were held at Los Alamos National Laboratory with Dr. Tom Zawodzinski working on modification of carbon-supported Pt catalyst and completing his M.S. research at Hampton University, Virginia, under Dr. Godson Nwokogu on Tere-Isophthalic Acid Polyester Copolymers via Melt Acidolysis. When he is not working on novel high performance specialty polymer composites, membranes, and functional coatings, William enjoys spending time
with his family and attending musical concerts and sporting events.
Amanda Moye: Contracting Officer
Amanda joined NanoSonic in 2019 and serves as NanoSonic’s Contracting Officer. She is the primary point of contact for all contracting actions and leads NanoSonic’s proposal efforts. Amanda earned her BS degree in Management and Leadership from Bluefield University. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, reading, quilting, and spending time with her husband and two kids.
Ben Woods: Production Engineer
Ben joined NanoSonic in 2020 with over 30 years of diverse experience in production management. As a graduate of Virginia Tech with industry experience in advanced materials engineering, he serves as NanoSonic’s lead production engineer on military and commercial production contracts. Outside of work, Ben spends his time on his family farm with his wife and three children.
